LDNS Caching Responses from GTM/DNS
Hello,
I am trying to delegate some URL traffic from LDNS to 2 BIG-IPs running GTM/DNS. We noticed some DNS queries are not matching the topology records built in the GTMs. We also noticed the LDNS is caching and even if we reduced the TTL, it is still affecting the traffic. How can I remove the caching from LDNS and force it to get fresh information from the GTMs? I heard setting the TTL in the LDNS to 0 is not recommended.
Goal is:
Computer in subnet A -> Connect to DC A Computer in subnet B -> Connect to DC B
Issue
If computer B make a DNS query just after Computer A, LDNS if using cache and replying the DNS query with DC A instead forward the query and use fresh information from the BIG-IPs
Hopefully is clear, thank you in advance for any advise.
