I put the latest test as an iRule on the virtual server, then changed "Action on service down" to Reselect....

 

 

I went to one server, Stopped Tomcat, and hit "Continue" and got a 503 error in the browser. I hit refresh, and everything continued as it should. I switched to the other server with correct session state, etc. However that 503 should not be seen and I can't assume customers are going to hit refresh. Tried it about 5X and results were the same!!!

 

 

What is a "reverse" health monitor ?
