LB Query
Hi Experts,
Have a question on Weigted Round Robin LB method.. Say, there is a VIP1 with 3 pool servers behind it Sr1, Sr2, Sr3. Configuration is 10:5:2 respectively (out of 10 connections, first 10 connections go to Sr1, next 5 to Sr2, and last 2 would reach Sr3. Is this correct? What happens if one server Sr3 is removed for maintenance? How will the traffic be routed now between the other 2 pool servers?

Actually no. It's a ratio, so in this case for every 10 requests to Sr1, send 5 to Sr2, and 2 to Sr3. The math gets a little complicated of course as you add more ratios, so if you break it down to just the first two members (10:5), it'd be like for every 2 requests to the Sr1, send 1 to Sr2. If you remove Sr3, then you still have a 10:5 ratio between the remaining members. If you remove Sr2, then you should have a 10:2 ratio between the remaining members.
