Large number of new ports required
Hi all,
I'm running an LTM that is currently configured with 15 servers represented as physicals, pools and VIPs. There are 6 to 10 pools and VIPs for each server representing the necessary service ports. Our backup and storage team are deploying a new backup technology and have asked that I open a range of 600 ports for each server for the new system. I think I've settled on creating a 0 port VIP for each server with an iRule to restrict access to those ports from the new backup subnets. My concern is the existing VIPs. If I create a new rule that allows all and restricts that to 6000 to 6600, will that new port 0 VIP steal and drop the traffic from my existing VIPs on other service ports?
Thank you!

In general the more specific virtual servers will take the traffic first.
