L7DoS Profile With LTM Policy Failed

Hello,

I have a test environment and there is a virtual server (auction site) with the ip address 10.1.10.20. I can reach out this virtual server with 3 different domain options. (I wrote these domains in my own workstation hosts file.)

All these domains are hitting the same site;

auction1.f5demo.com

auction2.f5demo.com

10.1.10.20

I want to separate the specified domains based on both the ASM policy and the L7 DDoS policy, but I am getting the following error;

010716d9:3: Virtual server /Common/auction_vs requires a profile of type dos with application security enabled for ltm policy /Common/10.1.10.20_ltm_policy.

I am also sharing the LTM policy settings in the attachment. Do you have any idea why this error occurs?

Kind Regards

Seçkin

  • You do have to enable a default dos profile and an asm polocy in order for this work.

    Try create a basic one and apply it in VS configuration.

    At the end each fqdn will use it's own defined in the policy.
