    Finally, the issue was with the virtual platform VMware ESXi 7.0.3 on Dell equipment
    No problem with F5 and hw/sw

Jose,

When you mention that you lost connection to the F5 while upgrading firmware, do you mean an upgrade on TMOS? Which version are you trying to install? If you're trying to upload custom firmware to a VE for hardware drivers, that is not supported.
