Issue to resolv local DNS name on APM (without domain extension)

    Portal Access doesn't support BIG-IP's static host resolution feature (this is F5 enhancement request ID 223060). However, it does support the normal system resolver and its settings. You should simply have to set up the "search domain" in System => Configuration => DNS.

Hi Laconi,

the solution is described on Ask F5 AskF5 SOL39744305.

Its about the 
ndots
Parameter in the 
/etc/resolv.conf
.

Problem is fixed in v12.1.
