  • I'm assuming you're asking about Hotfix 6 for v11.6 release? Estimate is about 2 months, according to our F5 sales guy. This may change, based on what they want to include in the hotfix. Are you looking for a solution to a particular problem, or just curious?

  • Hi Hannes;

    Thank you for your kind reply. I am indeed looking for a solution for a particular problem. I am implementing a project involving APM as a PCOIP gateway for VMware Horizon View 6.2.

    The APM with HF5 supports HTML5 browser based client for view only up to VMware Horizon View 6.0 but not 6.2. I have been told that HF6 will support version 6.2 HTML5 client.

    Kindly Wasfi

  • Hi Hannes;

    Now that HF6.0 is out, would support for HTML5 browser based client for VMware Horizon View 6.2 be included?

    Kindly Wasfi

      In the SOL article, it only says the issue is fixed for version 6.1 VMware Horizon. Search for html5 @ https://support.f5.com/kb/en-us/solutions/public/15000/600/sol15659.html

    Are you looking for this fix? Listed in 11.6.0 HF6 release notes under title:

    Cumulative fix details for BIG-IP v11.6.0 Hotfix 6 that are included in this release:

    533566-1 : Support for View HTML5 client v3.5 shipped with VCS 6.2

    Component: Access Policy Manager

    Symptoms: The upcoming release of VMware Horizon View Connection Server 6.2 introduces a few changes to the View HTML5 client. This fix catches up with those changes to provide seamless support at APM side.

    Conditions: BIG-IP APM configured as PCoIP proxy and set up against VMware VCS 6.2 with HTML5 client installed.

    Impact: Launching View HTML5 client from APM webtop may not work properly.

    Workaround:

    Fix: Support for View HTML5 client v3.5 shipped with VCS 6.2

  • anyone tested that successfully? I have customers saying it still doesn't work with 11.6 HF6 so I'll need to investigate

    Thanks
