iRule to write to data group ?

iRulers - I'm looking for syntax to write to a data group from an iRule. For example, I have an irule looking at a data group to block various 'User-Agent's. I want to take the client IP from a request that is blocked based on User-Agent, and write that to a second data group, to drop traffic from these ip addresses.

 

Any help is appreciated !

    As far as I know, there's no (easy) way to write to a data group through an iRule. However, you could make use of tables in order to accomplish this. There's also a good set of articles about tables as well. Here's one with table examples.
