irule that can prevent big ip client VPN from re-connecting to VPN

This issue is only happening on MAC machines for some reason. TAC suggested writing an irule for this case. Scenario:

 

1. Client establishes VPN connecting utilizing F5 Access on a MAC
2. Login prompt pops up to enter credentials
3. Followed by 2FA questions
4. VPN connection then shows connected.
5. Company website auto launches once it establishes a successful connection.

The issue: 1. When client closes and reopens lid on a laptop, it will initiate and attempt to reconnect once more without requesting to enter credentials. 2. Once it says connected, then the same webpage auto launches. This happens for every reconnection attempt where it launches the webpage automatically.

 

Can someone provide some guidance as to if an irule can even address this sort of thing where it will maintain the VPN session while the lid is closed?
