Feb 04, 2013iRule Issue with 11.3 HF1
Hello forum...
Has anyone upgraded to 11.3 HF1 yet?
I have just applied the update to my dev environment and my iRule broke. The following is what makes it die (and this is obviously a key component):
CLIENT_ACCEPTED { ACCESS::restrict_irule_events disable }
I get 404 not found issues.
Firefox tells me this in the WebConsole:
[10:46:14.192] The character encoding of the plain text document was not declared. The document will render with garbled text in some browser configurations if the document contains characters from outside the US-ASCII range. The character encoding of the file needs to be declared in the transfer protocol or file needs to use a byte order mark as an encoding signature. @ https://dev/my.policy
Would be interested to know if it is just me, or if this could be a bug. It all works fine in 11.3 without HF 1.
Thanks very much.

Just in case anyone else has hit this issue, it is a bug in the 11.3 Hotfix 1. It has been escalated to F5 support, so hopefully they can provide a fix soon.
Note: I narrowed it down to find that the issue only occurs if the "Citrix & Java Support" checkbox in the Virtual Server settings is checked.
