Irule for server maintanance
We want to write a irule or script to achieve the scenario:
Big-ip monitor the connection status of the servers and is connections goes to 0 then with the help of the script it will boot the server and once server comes up then again it starts sending the traffic to the server in question.
is this achievable through irule or script in big-ip??

Hi Manu,
The Irule is a feature that controls or works on the BIGIP device level alone. You cannot make your backend server to reboot with that.
But you can have some bash script created with the remote server detail as the destination & pass your commands to reboot it.
BTW why do you need to boot your server when your connection count is 0, have you investigated the actual issue.
