I have the following details: 1>IP and PORT of the servers whose health needs to be checked 2>Send and Receive string provided by the vendor I would like to create irule to check the health. Shakeeb, You don't need to create an irule for this, a custom monitor will do. Just create a new monitor and base it off a parent profile e.g. tcp or http and add the relevant send and receive strings here. Hope this helps, N
