Hi, i have a monitor string that look into serveralive.html, if he recieve 1 than he send the request to the server on the pool, so if i want to do some working on the server all connection will go to another one on the pool by changing the serveralive.html value to 0 . what i want to do is an irule that will let me move traffic to that pool even if my both serveralive.html file will send 0, can i do it?
thats how i will get full pritection for my mistakes :)

what i did in the end is putting the string:
GET /serverAlive.html
as it is
and when he change the value to 0 i saw the server "DOWN"
but what that i don't understand is when he change the name of the
file to another name (not serverAlive) i get the 2 servers up
do you know why? why i didn't see them down?

It is not very easy to tell without seeing the actual HTTP request and response.
In general, you should not use a single character as "Recv String" for monitors. This might coincide with any other HTML characters as well as HTTP headers. You have to use some sort of "unique" string to identify server's health.- sandra_6005test

and it recevied a uniqe answer that i put on that file
when i change the uniqe answer it goes down :)
than i do my working on the srever and put back that uniqe answer that
put the server back up.
