iRule + iControl in BIGIP DNS

My objective is to use iRule + iControl, from within iRule env, to get the routing table information and based on that perform a logic, 2 questions:

1 - I saw a new command for get-multicast added in v12 (https://devcentral.f5.com/wiki/iControl.Networking__MulticastRoute.ashx) , Not sure if there is a iControl command for the get-route from the IGP/BGP routing tables populated by zebos? 2- can we invoke iControl from inside iRules? or somehow associate them?
