iPlanet to Big-IP to WebLogic routing issue

We are routing client request from iPlanet Web Server to Big-Ip to webLogic Application Server.

 

Some transactions will go over 5 min/300 sec time limit which is the max for iPlanet keepAlive.

 

In order to keep this session open beyond 5 min we introduced Big-Ip in between iPlanet and WebLogic.

 

Now is it possible to send somethin like "Your request still being processed" from Big-Ip to iPlanet every let;s say 3 or 4 min?

    This is really an iRules question. Which version of BIG-IP are you using? After you respond, I'll move this post to the appropriate forum so that the iRule team can respond.
