Intermediate or root certificate to be sent by F5
Hi Guys,
When I use client profile SSL, it is to have the site being SSL encrypted via a certificate. Can F5 send the intermediate or root certificate along with the site certificate ?
Thank-you.

Can you provide the exact requirements ? Why do you want the F5 to transmit the certificate ?
yes Edouard, the F5 can do this, you have next to the certificate and key option the chain field, that is where you can set the intermediate certificate(s).
you first upload the intermediate (or multiple) when you also upload the certificate / key and then link to that in the chain field.
you don't need to send root certificates from the F5, it isn't forbidden or such, but has no use.

There is also alternative method. You can add intermediate and root certificate into the server certificate. Personally I prefer to upload chain (intermediate an root) seperately and configure chain in a client ssl profile.
