interfaces

its posible, to have a interface ingress in copper and interface egress in fiber?

    An ingress interface can be of one media type and an egress interface can be another. But an interface can only be either copper or fibre, you can’t egress and ingress on the same interface using different media types.

    Hi,

     

    for simplicity (YES), you have several interfaces. Each interce can be copper or fiber depending your Hardware.

     

    And of course you can have in interface ingress Fiber/copper and interface egress Fiber/copper (depending your routing table).
