image2disk --nosaveconfig ... stupid question

I receive the following error when i issue the "image2disk --instslot=1.1 --nosaveconfig Hotfix-BIGIP-10.2.1-511.0-HF3.iso" command you cannot install software/hotfix on current active partition. i understand you were on hd1.1, so you cannot install on hd1.1. by the way, isn't it --instslot=HD1.1?

 

 

Will I need to first install the base 10.2.1 image and then apply the hotfix, or can I go ahead with the hotfix install by including "--hotfix" or "--force" ?i am not sure about image2disk command but b software or tmsh install sys command will automatically install base software for us (when specifying hotfix) and then hotfix.
