Sep 08, 2009IIS signature set origin
Where did Attack Signature Sets “Systems: Microsoft Windows, IIS, ASP... ” come from. a new install of version 9.4.5 or version 10 did not create this user-defined signature, however, I have a few LTM version 9.x.x with these F5 generated user defined signature. Dont know where or when it got added.
Updating the ASM with the latest signature file did not create this set either.
I would like to know which version of signature file created this particular F5 user defined set.
Any ideas?

If you check the attack sig set under Options | Attack Signatures | Attack Signatures Sets, does the "Systems: Microsoft Windows..." set show up as User-Defined? I would assume it is user-defined and was created automatically during the web app set up wizard. - Jeremy_18125

That's exactly right. Many thanks.
