iControl API incorrect?

Hi, I'm trying to get statistics like CPU usage from a device. I'm using C on .NET. In the iControl API for 9.2.2, it says that I can use System.SystemInfo.get_cpu_usage_information() to this end...

This information is not exposed programmatically until v9.2. For versions prior to this the only way I know how to get it is via console access and a combination of system commands.
