iControl 12.1.0.0 vs 10.2.0.0

I'm trying to find a changelog to compare the differences between iControl.dll v12.1.0.0 and v10.2.0.0.

 

We are currently using 10.2.0.0 and I need to know what all is involved with upgrading to 12.1.0.0.

    Wow, still on 10.2! Lots new between then and 12.1. Our iControl SOAP APIs follow a deprecation model where there are no breaking changes allowed and only additive features put in each release. With that said, client apps written for 10.2 should still work on 12.1 with no changes on your part. With that said, there are some situations where features are removed from the product and there is no way to provide backward compatibility but those have been very rare.

     

    If you would like to look at the changes added release to release, I have put together a bunch of "What's new in..." articles in the iControl wiki ( all linked from the HomePage ). All changes should be noted in those items.

     

    Those changes logs go back to version 10.0.
