iApp user role permissions

I have an iApp that works if I run it with the Administrator role. If I run it with any other role is fails with

 

01070822:3: Access Denied: user (user1) does not have create access to object (node_address)

 

The iApp runs tmsh commands to "modify ltm data-group internal" and "modify ltm profile rewrite".

 

I have tried to modify the "run-as" setting, but I only get errors when I try to import. I am running 12.1.2.

 

Any help would be appreciated.
