HTTPS Persistence Question

i have SSL Termination on VIP load balancing to 3 pool members on port 80 .   now which persistence should i use , HTTP ( like Cookie persistence ) , or SSL persistence ?

Kevin, this article for v11.2.1 still states SSL persistence is not possible where the SSL terminates on the device: http://support.f5.com/kb/en-us/products/big-ip_ltm/manuals/product/ltm-concepts-11-2-1/ltm_persist_profiles.html?sr=254024371192492

 

 

"Note: The SSL persistence type is only valid for systems that are not performing SSL certificate-based authentication of client requests or server responses. If you are using Client SSL or Server SSL profiles to configure certificate-based authentication, do not configure an SSL persistence profile. Instead, create an iRule to perform SSL session persistence."
