HTTP/HTTPS Irules user and password MD5.

Hi,

 

I am looking for a way to use an Irule in order to authenticate HTTP or HTTPS with an user and password encrypted such as MD5 and attached it to my virtual server. I can't use whitelisting since many originating IP is received. Unless someone knows a better way.

    Hi,

     

    I just want to be sure that i understand your need.

     

    You try to protect a service using an Irule that righ? and this irule will play the role of perimeter security.

     

    So you want to display for example an login page (form) and authenticate user befor service access? in this case how you will manage password?

     

    if yes why you don't use APM?
