HTTP To HTTPS conversion
Hello Experts
We have HTTP connection which we are planning to upgrade to HTTPS: Do i need to only look at no. of new connections and check whether license can support it ? or open connections has to be considered
e.g if below are HTTP connection details Total open connections: 20K New connections: 1000
Do i need to have SSL session to support 1000 connections per second or do i need to include 20K open connections as well. And Anyone any Idea how many open SSL connection i can have with B2150
Thanks for your response

SSL licensing has limits based on TPS (Transactions Per Second). This should roughly be equal to connections per second. Based on the numbers provided, you need to use 1,000 as the threshold. However, if you are going to buy licensing, I would recommend that you run the math by the F5 Sales/Solutions Engineer just to be sure.
See this for B2150 data.
Included SSL TPS: 4,000/Blade Maximum SSL TPS: 10,000 TPS (2K keys) Bulk crypto: 9 Gbps
