Http redirect rewrite issue

I have enabled the redirect rewrite "ALL" in the http profile so it will redirect http:// to https:// server responses, this is working just fine for the Main page,after that if we are trying to cli...

if you have a virtual server listening on port 443 and the pool member is on 80 then you don't need anything special in general. until certain links or redirects are served as http:// because yes then the client will try to go to a virtual server on port 80. does a virtual server on the same IP but on port 80 exist?

 

if it doesn't then you need one with that irule to redirect back to the 443 one. you could also look into rewriting http to https on with a stream profile.

 

your not the first person to run into this, search around this place and see what others have done.
