Did you tick the "session cookie" box when you created the persistence profile?

  • If session cookie it will be removed when you close your browser window and not before (unless you clear cookies from Tools).

or have the Chrome option set to carry the cookies on to the next session.

What IheartF5 said. A session cookie is a memory resident mechanism. It lives as long as the browser is running and disappears when the browser is closed. A persistent cookie is any cookie with an expiration value. These cookies are generally saved in the file system and are available across browser sessions, or until the specified expiration time occurs.
