How to: vcmp - upgrade a guest hotfix?

Unless recommended practices have changed since I last used vCMP - use the host to install the base image/hotfix upon initial deployment. all other upgrades (full release or hotfix) are then handled within the guest as if the guest was a non-virtual F5.

You can delete the base and HF images once you've installed them on a guest - they don't have to continue taking up disk space.
