How to set up email alert when pool unavailable, internally with no external server like SNMP
Hello, i am new to the F5 but, getting better day by day. So, my question is i have a pair of F5 devices having multiple pools i was trying to set up email alert for some particular pools with out using SNMP trap we do not have any external sever at this point. So, i am trying to find out is there any way that we can set up email alert for only authorized people that can receive notification when a particular pool go down.?

Hello Mayur
Thanks!! for the article in this article mainly we have alert using SNMP traps. But, i do not have any external sever so i am looking find way to setup alert internally without SNMP.
At the end of article, it is given to setup mail alerts by making changing in file '/config/user_alert.conf' under bash (w/o SNMP).
