How to retreive the protocol type (i.e, "HTTP", "HTTPS" or "HTTP and HTTPS") for a given ASM policy using REST call

Hi All,

As of today we are unable to retrieve the protocol type that is been input at the start of new asm policy creation, via the per-policy call, (as in the screen referred below).,

Any idea how to retrieve it?

Regards, Vigneshwar

You are looking for "protocolIndependent" that is either True of False, under the policy REST endpoint

Hi Tzoori, No, I want to retreive what protocol the ASM policy supports on the applied Virtual Server.

The ASM policy is separate to the protocol on the virtual server. An ASM policy can differentiate between HTTP and HTTPs resources (as well as WebSocket and WSS), but the actual traffic protocol type is determined by the virtual server. Each URL (if the policy is not protocol indifferent) has a protocol as a part of its attributes.
