how to restrict access of users till ASM only

Hello Experts,

 

I am looking for suggestions here as I have not explored access restrictions on F5 yet. I am using VCMP guest LTM devices on Viprion that has ASM enabled as well. I have this requirement that a specific set of users should be able to access and modify ASM configuration only but NOT LTM configuration.

 

Is this possible anyhow like using TACACS or some manual user role configuration?

    Hello Anuj,

     

    Yes, you can create appropriate users on "System ›› Users : User List" page.

    There are 2 specific roles for ASM - Application Security Administrator and Application Security Editor.

    For more details about roles you can look at Help section on "System ›› Users : User List" page.
