How to Enable iControl REST daemon icrd for BIG-IP version 11.2.1 Hotfix HF6 and 11.4.1 Hotfix HF6

Getting an error : Couldn't find service: icrd ,for the command "show sys service icrd, bigstart status icrd"

    Hello,

    iControlRest is not available on 11.2.1 at all. In v11.4.1, it's in early beta and unstable. I recommend you upgrade to 11.5.3 or 11.5.1.

    To solve your issue on v11.4.1 appliances, try the following:

    touch /etc/bigstart/scripts/scim
bigstart add --default icrd
bigstart enable icrd
bigstart start icrd

    In regards to 11.2.1, you can't do anything but upgrade.
