Nov 18, 2014Hi,
Downgrading BIG-IP hotfixes
To revert back to a previously installed hotfix that no longer exists on another boot location, you must first reinstall the base version to an inactive boot location, and then install the desired hotfix. To reinstall the base BIG-IP software and hotfix to an inactive boot location, perform the following procedure:
Impact of procedure: Performing a downgrade overwrites BIG-IP configuration information on the partition you are downgrading.
- Log in to the Configuration utility.
- Perform the previous Downgrading BIG-IP base software procedure.
- Navigate to System > Software Management > Hotfix List.
- Select the check box next to the desired hotfix image.
- Click Install.
- Select the volume set name for which you want to perform the installation.
- Click Install.
