- This is a strange one. In January of last year, we removed this method to align with features in the product disallowing removal of virtual addresses. The reason being, that there should never be a state when a virtual address is defined but not tied to a virtual server. But it seems that something has gotten out of sync and the delete methods are back in the GUI and the command line when 9.0 shipped possibly due to a underlying configuration situation where this becomes possible.
We'll get that method added back so that the GUI and CLI are in sync with eachother. This will most likely make it into the 9.2 release. Unfortunately, there isn't any other way to do this with iControl right now.

I am afraid if I misunderstand your answer, so I would like to confirm something below.
1/ The 9.2 release will be made for "there should never be a state when a virtual address is defined but not tied to a virtual server", will not it?
2/ Will this prolem be modified in BIG-IP software or iControl interface?
Thanks and best regards, - Sorry I wasn't clear in the first reply. What I meant to pass along is that when we removed the method, the underlying design was to not allow stagnant virtual addresses (ones not tied to any virtual server). That WAS the design. It seems that something has changed under the seems that now there is a way for virtual addresses to exist outside of a virtual server so the delete method is now relevant again. My point was that something slipped through the cracks and we didn't get the delete method put back into the SDK. This will be corrected in BIG-IP v9.2 and it's associated SDK.
Hope that answers your question...

Thank you for your answer.
I would be happy if you let me know when BIG-IP v9.2 releases. - Our beta is starting very soon and I believe we are targeting the September-ish timeframe for general availability.
