Jun 16, 2016How to configure Virtual Server with multiple ports on multiple pool
Hi All,
I am new to f5.
I have just got a requirement in a new project, to deploy a virtual server with three service ports. (5799,5800,10001)
Here first two ports 5799 and 5800 are on same node...

Jun 16, 2016The better option is to have 3 VS with 3 Pools. This provides you with greater granular control over traffic.
You can also use "*" for port on VS and then use AFM or Packet Filter or iRule to block all traffic other than the ones arriving on the ports of your choice on the VS. However, I prefer the 1st option of separate VS & Pools.
