How to accelerate sharepoint using LTM ?

Hi All,

 

We have two sharepoint servers in remote datacenter in US, clients accessing the sharepoint portal from other continents are feeling extreme slowness(clients access this via WAN links). The current sharepoint portal is accessed via VIP created using sharepoint iApp on a F5 LTM.

 

I'm thinking if LTM can try accelerating certain content or by caching some data may improve the performance of the page. I request you to suggest a best way of implementing that acceleration for sharepoint on LTM. software version of LTM is 11.4.1.

 

Just to add to the above, we have a F5 appliance in Singapore with Acceleration module licensed and installed. Is there anyway we can use of this F5 AAM to accelerate the sharepoint portal by fetching the content from remote servers in US. F5 AAM is also onm 11.4.x version.
