How long does it take to restart the F5 2000 series LTM

I dont think there is any specified time for the restart.

It is based on the processes/daemons complete/load.

You can tail the logs and see the progress if you have console connected,

#cd/var/log

#tail -f ltm

Based on observations - nothing scientific here - I would expect the device to take anything from 4-8 minutes to do a straight reboot. If you were upgrading the OS then this would take longer if firmware upgrades needed to be applied.

If I was adding this as a step to an RFC, I'd give the task 20 minutes to complete.
