How do I upgrade from 10.2.4 to 11.x while changing hardware?

Going from 10.2.4 1500 to 11.x 5250.   I'm trying to figure the process to do this... the problem I see is that I can't import a 10.2.4. config archive to 11.x directly, right?   I can't upgrad...

yeah pretty much what Nut says.

 

you can restore a version 10 UCS on a version 11 platform. there will be issues due to the difference in interfaces and such. but you can extract your UCS, make changes, compress it again and restore it. this isn't the easiest process if you haven't done it before so perhaps a partner or F5 support can help out.
