How do I drop traffic on ASM?

Hi;

When you setup an ASM policy, you can setup the action taken upon a violation to provide a "Blocking Page", but what if I simply want to "Drop" the request. Do I need to write an i-rule for that? If yes, can I use Layer 7 LTM policies for the same purpose?
