Health monitor

Hi, I'm trying to find a way how to do health checking of another machine (not pool member itself). I'm thinking about health monitor applied under pool member and the script like 'telnet 2.3.4.5 100001'. I tried to search the different types of monitor but I've no idea if it is possible.     You could use external monitor and add the real machine by using alias address by click advanced option.
