Header insert question.

I am looking to insert the client IP address as a header, so that a server that is behind a VIP that uses SNAT will be able to log the client IP address.     Has anyone had any luck doing this, ...

Can it be done without using iRules for BIGIP using v4.5.x and apache at backend?
