Hash Cookie persistance with F5 cookie

Hi ,

 

 

I have setup a hash cookie profile which using a cookie inserted in the irule of event HTTP_Request ..

 

Does the persistance occur before the HTTP_request event ? or I should use the irule persist command to achieve that ? thx..

    What are you trying to accomplish? Have you read through SOL6586 and SOL7019 on AskF5 for details on hash persistence?

    I want to use the hash cookie persistance and I want to generate the cookie from F5 for that purpose . is it possible ?

     

    I have read all documentation and I am not sure how can I do so .. thx ...

    If you want to have LTM insert a cookie for persistence, you could use cookie insert persistence.
