Hardware BIG-IP appliance reach EOSS, but the software version running on it not yet?

As I know, "not supported" means "cannot be installed".

    That's what I originally thought too.

     

    But more than 1 sources told me that (e.g. the other reply above), in fact it is technically able to install those new versions (released after 2027/1/1) onto i4600. It's just that F5 will not support you running such setup (i4600+v17.5).

     

    I don't know. We certainly don't want to find it out the hard way.
