GTM wide IP pool persistence setting
I am going to apply a wide IP setting with load balancing method: topology and persistence: enable and two Pools for two DC respectively.
Primary Pool has higher Topology weight than secondary Pool.
When primary pool is unavailable, secondary pool will pick up the traffic and persistence will stick to secondary pool member.
I want to know what will happen after primary pool resumed? The persistence record will refresh and stick back to primary pool member automatically according to Topology setting? Or, persistence should be disable enable manually to refresh the record?
Thanks.

Hi,
Go through this article -
Overview of BIG-IP DNS persistence
here they clearly state that the persistence has a TTL value, which is by default 3600.

Hi Allwin,
Thanks your reply.
I checked the persistence expiration with command 'tmsh show gtm persist' will be extended by same LDNS query the GTM again.
As the result, the LDNS will stick to secondary pool for using continuously no matter primary pool has been resumed? Can it refresh automatically after primary pool had been resumed?
Thanks.
