NimbostratusGTM timed out DNS query with Persistence enabled.
Team,
Need some guidance in understanding the issue and possibly find a solution too. GTM query times out when persistence is enabled.
Simple setup of six GTMs having a wide IP with the pool members of two Virtual Servers from two separate Data Centers. They are configured with 'round robin' and needs persistence enabled to resolve to same VS for the returning users. We are facing the intermittent DNS query timing out issue and were able to narrow down to persistence is causing the delay. when persistence is disabled, no DNS times out.
iQuery is stable, all other Wide IPs with persistence are affected too. No error logs in /var/log/gtm and F5 TAC is struggling to understand the issue too. Any help is greatly appreciated here. Thank you.

TAC should be your best source of assistance. Are you using the default settings for the persistence ? How about the gtm.maxpersistsyncspersecond variable ?
