GTM Related Toplogy configuration question

Hi,

I want to mime a topology setup within the gtm, Need to configure HOT-HOT and no round robin. The wide ip would load balance between 2 IPs like shown below. As the subnets are the same not sure how I would configure the topology setup. The primary needs to be topology based. Secondary will be GA as the requirement is to have the failover. Q1) is it possible to define topology records Q2) any alternate method to configure HOT HOT 10.a.b.13744444 10.a.b.13944444 Appreciate your answers and ideas. -Thanks Prashant

  • You can use pools for topology based load balancing. If I understand your setup, you could create two GTM pools, each containing one of the two members. Then build your topology records to select one or the other based on whatever criteria you desire (source state/country/continent).

  • makes sense thank you. I have to now identify the topology records present and based on requirements see if it needs any changes.
