GTM HA Pair

Hello,

 

I am trying to replace a failed unit of a redundant pair. The RMA unit that I received has same version 10.2.3 but different build and edition.

 

The current active unit is version 10.2.3 Build 112.0 Final while the RMA unit is version 10.2.3 Build 123.101 Engineering Hotfix HF1.

 

Does the different Build and Edition matter for the HA pair to work properly?

 

Appreciate any advice.

    it does - you should install 10.2.3 final to another partition and boot into it before loading the configuration

    Thanks for the quick response. From the F5 download site, I only see this version BIGIP-10.2.3.112.0.iso (with no Final), is this the one I need to install?

      yes. the 112.0 in the filename is the build, which matches what you currently have installed on the live unit
