GTM GSLB monitors issue

Hi,

 

I just deployed a brand new vCMP guest with a 14.1 version, provisionned GTM/DNS, and I have issues with my GSLB monitors, default or not, they are all failing, whether using gateway_icmp, tcp, or http. Therefore pools and VS and Wide IPs or down. It is a brand n2w guest, al configs are also new, so I cannot relate on something that was working before.

 

GTM logs show : CHECKING --> DOWN from <unknown> (no reply from big3d: timed out)

 

Configuring the same pools and monitors in the Delivery portion works just fine. and for troubleshooting, I provisionned LTM on the same guest, configured some pools and monitors, and they are working just fine against the same members IP.

 

What can go wrong with these in GSLB ?

    To be able to use probes and monitors to your servers and datacenters in GSLB, the DNS selfIP must be present as it's the one the probes and monitors will be originating from.

     

    Adding my selfIP as a Big-IP type server in my datacenter enabled the monitors, and all went green.
