GTM - split dns solution

Im attempting to figure out methods for split dns. Im looking for ideas because im sure there are different ways of doing the same thing... Im currently referencing this methodology: Split DNS SOL14421

 

external subnet - public nat'd to a 1918 adx. 200.200.x.x nat'd 10.10.x.x/16

 

internal subnet - 1918 172.10.x.x/16

 

split dns views

 

external 200.200.x.x

 

internal 10.10.x.x

 

SOL14421 states to use Topology but most people state global availability is best?
